UST CAMPUS AT NIGHT
University of Santo Tomas Manila Many thanks to Noel Guerrero for sharing his expertise in night photography. I owe you lunch my friend!
Very nostalgic for me. We used to live right across on the Gov. Forbes side. I noticed that the old Balete trees are gone. All ten of us in the family went to school at UST. I also sang in the seminary choir group and loved riding my bicycle on campus at night.
Napadalaw from Irene's site. I was just planning to lurk around but couldn't help and comment on the pics, UST being my alma mater. Lovely pics and one building I do not recognize which I assume is the new parking garage. Thanks for sharing these.
3M Pizza in front, then some saklaan and pula't puti joints before martial law.
Nakow, dami magaganda sa USTe at mga artista na nagaaral nuon. :D
Glad this post reminded you of the fun times you had at UST, Anonymous.
Oo nga, hanggang ngayon maganda pa din ang campus pero balita ko may mga pumapasok na ding mga snatcher kaya nagiingat na din mga estudyante lalo na sa gabi.
I am proud to be a THOMASIAN! Did you know that Mr. Rodolfo "Jun" Lozada is a Thomasian too. I cant help admire the buildings of UST since I was a student in the 80's. I had been there 2 years ago and I cant help but still admire it. They had made excellent improvement through the years.
wow. ang ganda tlga ng uste no? im a 3rd year architecture student ngayon sa ust. ang alam ko, the management really preserves these buildings at tlgang pinapaganda yung buong campus, in preparation for its 400th year on 2011. cool no? sobrang ganda ng uste kapag paskuhan, u shud go. talagang ginagastusan ang lights and decorations. really nice. :D
I remember all the buildings that you've posted up in this post ... And of course, the fountain.

UST at night looks like a building in Europe. Well, it was built by the Spaniards so it is expected. Pretty cool shots eric. ;P

ReplyDeleteiba talaga ang architecture before ! they've a certain flair to them.. unlike now puro quadrada lang. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess practicality and efficiency ang goals ngayon.
long exposure? or just plain dragging the shutter
ReplyDeleteI found the camera head of my tripod I thought I lost last december
now I can again practice something like these pics of yours :)
