SERENITY
My Studio Lighting Workshop with Allan Razo starts tomorrow at FPPF. Have a good weekend everybody!
Wish I was there with you in Manila..you really had a nice pictures. It made me miz home so much...that scenic view of manila is what I also miz amidst the noise and chaotic place.
According to one of my photography teachers, vertical lines are supposed to signify strength, power and spirituality, Kyels. And of course, depth for water.
You know, my name irene means peace, serene. :) And I could use some peace of mind. My mind is so cluttered with all these ugly thoughts. :( I think I'll just stare at your picture and maybe that will help. :)
Speking of the bay, Utoy, right on Baywalk, I was there this morning and saw the hordes of colorful bicyclists of Festival of Fireflies. I was taking pictures right on the middle of their path and no one ran me down ... hehehe .... thank God!

By the way, Ramon Magsaysay High school here in Manila offers a free month-long photography classes in the evening. I say this because I've a feeling they might have similar programs for adults where you are. Check it out.
The teachers of photography I've come across so far, Sidney, are incredibly well-versed in this subject, especially its technical aspects. Darn, I've barely scratched the surface! I get stressed out even to think about teaching photography ... hehehe.
I felt depressed...a very lonely atmosphere comparable to the bleak economic atmosphere made by the Arroyo Government. Corruption, Senseless killings, Unemployment, Poverty, Starvation in the countryside.
Overwhelmingly deperssing, indeed, Anonymous. Why not focus on what you can do to help heal things, though on small ways; rather than on how they adversely affect your conscisouness?

Ah, Sasha ... Manila Bay is Manila's greatest attraction and the country's treasure! Some of the most glorius sunsets occur at Manila Bay!
