GOING BACK TO THE MOON

Here’s how artist John Frassanito sees NASA's new crew exploration vehicle in lunar orbit. Building from the best of Apollo and shuttle technology, it will be three times bigger than the Apollo of times past and will carry four astronauts to and from the moon.

This new spaceship will be the centerpiece of NASA's back to the moon project and according to estimates, before the end of the next decade, astronauts will head back to the moon not only for surface explorations, but to remain as well — building outposts and paving the way for eventual journeys to Mars and beyond. Another exciting era for NASA, indeed.

Yes, Sidney. I remember the thrilling scenes of their first lunar landing. But I'm sure those pale in comparison to what the kids of today will witness as NASA continues on with their intrepid explorations.

Wow... That's cool. I had a glimpse of the model last year when it was still in design stage and John F. was still passing sketches. I think it was in Discovery channel or National geographic i can't remember which channel now.

But i have to say the outcome is literally out of this world! (which is the purpose, hehe.)

I love design visions that are made to reality. I just hope I can do just one monumental design in my lifetime. A worthwhile legacy to leave to future generation.

I think you will, Rey. You have the inherent talent to manifest your creative desires.

You may be the next Frank Lloyd Wright, Frank Gehry, Philip Johnson, I.M. Pei or Michael Graves. It all depends on "you."

Just be true to your dream!

In 1969. The first man on the moon N. armstrong landed on the craters of it, together with his two buddies Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins, on the same year. Our very own Gloria Diaz won the Ms. Universe contest for the question "If the Man on the Moon Landed in your Hometown what will you do to entertain him".
Soon after those year, few exploration had been materialize, they aim to go to mars but they never attempt to Venus....until such time Anime Sailormoon gives its all to the Galaxy.. The comet Haley was also seen... Ive seen in some "Outerlimits Kindda" series on the exploration on the moon. Who will be the one next or are there anyone who lives there aside from Human...
N. Armstrong

That was indeed riveting television when N. Armstrong landed and initiated the "small steps" by man on the moon.

Hmmm... I'm inclined to speculate that after a couple a decades, the moon will become a host to a lot of NASA activities, Neil.
