Good to hear that you're putting some time to update your site, Akira! It is really worth visiting regularly.
Try to send an entry or two to this photo contest. You never know ... you might just clinch another winning spot and win a fabulous vacation package for the summer :)
Incidentally, I mentioned your dad to Mr. Ed Santiago (one of the regular speakers at my current camera workshop) and he claims that your dad was once a member of his team at some newspaper. Ed has fond memories of him; foremost, he claims your dad is the most fearless photojournalist he has ever known in his entire life. I then mentioned to him that his son (you) is also a budding photojournalist. It brought a wide smile to his face.
Good luck at this photo contest!- said...

That night when I was reviewing the shots I took at the Coconut Palace, I was hoping that it wasn't a wedding reception but some big-time corporate affair, Eye.
You see, later that evening, Manila started to get drenched in what seemed like and endless torrentail downpour. Check out my entry on it:

Right, Kyels -- Coconut Palace! This is to remind myself that I have to return to its butterfly garden which I missed during my previous visit.

Hi Eric. Would you believe I want to try this? I'm as amateur as amateurs can be but I don't care. I just want to try (nobody will know anyway ... and they'll probably only know if I win which is a far shot). Thanks for sharing this news with us.
