Galeng ng mga pictures :) Alam nyo po ba like utoy-- started joining the UP team before. The training was hard to say the least. You have to be there at 4 am sharp to do the warm up of jogging and at least if i remember it right 50 push ups- my gulay na shock ang tulog ko pang katawan. Ang saya the newbies paddle at the end of the boat.kung nasa left side ka ng boat dun ka na lagi-- kaya lokohan namin muscle imbalance dahil yung right mo maliit na hahahhaha. kaya di na ako nag tuloy ahahha

:) saya pa rin --

Oh my, I was there last Sunday! I watched a bit of the race, then walked to MYC to go sailing! I think my friend Carole is in one of your pics too, but her hats jammed on tight and am not sure it's her.

The gloomy cloudy skyline is the most challenging to photograph, Rhoda. Not much you can do with it other than to include less of the skyline as much as possible.

You do have a point: they could've been more creative with their costumes :)

One of the members told us that they have a cancer survivor as a team member, Utoy! As I've said, if only I were years younger, I'd love to trin and join this sport. I enjoy the sense of team unity I get from all the participants!

Hey, good luck and trust you'll be back to being 100 percent so I can take your photo on next year's dragon boat race, Utoy!

Problem was, Kyels, they had no press release sheets for the media available. Their Website is not at all updated either. Nonetheless, there were many but I wasn't able to count the total number of teams.

Many thanks, Kyels :)

Thanks, Irene!

They could've been more colorful and creative with their uniforms as Rhoda suggested.

The UP women's team was there, Daisy!

I can imagine the rigid discipline involved in this kind of sport. But you know what, you can see that most of the participants are in great shape with great bods!

Oo nga ano? Muscle imbalance ang labas. Pwedde kaya alternatve seat assignments?

Small world, isn't it, Mila?

The Baywalk had a lot of people at the break of dawn! But eventually thinned out by noon. Great place to be in the morning to do some physical exercises :)

Wow! Sailing! Cool :)

Ang ganda naman ng kulay nila. Cguro ang ganda tignan pag sabay sabay na silang nag ro-row.

Even the synchronized manner they steer away from the dock, Ferdz, is dictated by the beat of the drum, which was really quite something to watch. Yes, very colorful affair, indeed :)

But the uniform of the team from your alma mater, Sheilamarie, is black. They could've chosen a more vibrant color, no?
