I remember asking you one time: Should art always be beautiful? And if so, then should ugly things be not considered as art?
The sight as shown in this pic is not pretty. But you have made it look pretty with the way you captured and presented it with your camera. At least, that's how I look at it.
I guess you're right. Art is subjective. :)-

Many years ago, on a lazy weekend morning getting ready for breakfast, my young daughter ask me about life. "Dad, why are we here in this world". I said "what?" ~ She asks again, "why are we in this world?" ~~~
It's a good thing she was just pointing at the commercial ads on the back of the newspaper that I was reading. I took her to the dining table and have breakfast and I just told her to ignore it since it was just a commercial to buy some products. Muntik na akong mabilaukan when she ask the same question again. I told her, she is too young to understand about the main reason why we are here in this world. I promised her that she would find out the answer as she grows up and that smile from her was a sign that she would find the answer as she grew up.
(tell you the truth, I really don't have any answer during that time when I was asked that question) maybe until now, I'm still looking for the right one.

A quick question: A friend sends SMS through online, are you able to browse and post comments on blogsite via your cell phone? With the amazing feats in today's technology, I wouldn't be surprised if that were indeed the case. I wonder if the iPhone is able to do that also?-

What first attracted me to this scene, Rhoda was the texture of the folding metal gate with traces of many bills posted on it and ripped off, including that of the wall's next to it. And finally, the bike leaning against it. So this was more, to me, a study on textures.

By the way, the bike with the thermos and the plastic bags contain the lunch and refreshments of a man and his two young sons. They sell various items -- cigarettes, newspapers, and etc. -- on a street corner to motorists who were waiting for the light.-

I've only gone inside the circle's park, Dine, to take some photos with a friend on a weekday afternoon, and to eat lunch in one of the eateries in the vicinity.
I bet it's filled with many families and groups of friends during the weekends and holidays!-

That scene, Reyd, reminds me of one morning on a crowded bus on my way to work, when a youngster of about four, asked his mother somewhat the same question. The poor mother, startled from reading her pocketbook, was caught completely unaware and unable to respond. Add to that the embarrassment of being asked such a question while inside a crowded bus. However, I was sure the other passengers who overheard the youngster pondered on the question. I did.

This picture was actually taken on a rather nice block with two private universities, Francesca. This was a gate to a warehouse made to look grungy by all those bills -- including those from the recently hel election posters, I'm sure -- pasted on it and removed by the owner.
I've a feeling those schools on this block receive some of those dollars from the students; dependents of some of those OFWs.
