Yes, it was taken at around seven in the morning at Plaza Miranda.
Thanks, Carla!- Señor Enrique said...
Yes, Carlin's a comedian with hilarious insight on life. He used to have TV specials before which I always made a point to watch.
Thanks much, Photo Cache!- Senorito<- Ako said...

i hope plaza miranda will be spared from mayor lim's uglification of manila!
kahapon ko lang nakita from carriedo station, inaaspalto na rin pala un plaza lacson? ano na kaya mangayari dun sa statue?- Señor Enrique said...
Yes, hagip din ang Plaza lacson, Pusa.
Go ahead and make use of this beautiful quote :)- cacofonix said...
what color coordinates! it's as if the lady dressed and picked her plastic carrying bags to complement her surroundings (note: vis-a-vis paint of the building arches, the pavement, the huge green umbrella on the right side, the orange chair underneath, etc.). and to have caught such a serendipitous colorful scene under perfect natural lighting - your eye for interesting photography proves to be amazingly intuitive on this one...:). the picture reminds me of Jan Vermeer's paintings (in particular, city views). I love the way he masterfully used color and light to bring out the poetic quality of his images.
i'll have to disagree with George however, in life we're never alone - if we believe in God (and He is a Person)...:).- Señor Enrique said...
I really enjoy your critiques, Cacophonix! I am more and more convinced of your background in fine arts. You see things that I don't even see or able to articulate. I was with Daniel Palma Tayona, a painter, the other day and told him how I lack the ability to critique anything; I'm just not well-versed at it.
Thanks!
And yes, I agree -- acknowledging His presence makes us not feel alone at all :)- said...
Moving on is not an easy task because it takes courage to do so but as humans we ought to live our lives to the fullest as everything is unpredictable.

Good point, Kyels. And if I may add, not only courage but strength, because some losses could be so devastating; making us feel as if almost unable to ever fully recover. Many take years to move on.
