I'm speechless. These must be among your most beautiful shots of Manila Bay sunset, Eric.

Come to think of it - I haven't really experienced watching the sunset on Manila Bay. Nakikita ko lang pag napapadaan sa Roxas Blvd... but not really sit down to watch it. One day, I hope. :)

i just love, love, love sunsets and these are amazing!

Am using an 18-135mm telephoto zoom lens, Carla. It would have been bigger if I had one of those 500mm prime lenses like tjose used by sports photographers. Someday ... hehehe.

Nature was also cooperative last night by not making it a cloudy day, Armovil.

I think this would be the clearest sunset I've ever taken pictures of so far.

Thank you, Rhoda. As mentioned, nature provided a perfect sunset photo opportunity yesterday. It was a bright and clear day.

Baywalk is very safe. You should take some time to visit it and enjoy a Manila Bay sunset.

Thanks much, Aura :)

Manual settings, once you learned it is the best and easiest way to capture images of sunsets. You'll also begin to enjoy the magical, available light of the evening hours. I say, take a class :)

Taking pictures of the full moon seems to be the rage for many shutterbugs with the proper equipment. It's haunting kasi, eh.

Sige, Carla, I'll keep my fingers crossed ... hehehe!

How else can I say it? Once more...BEAUTIFUL Shots! :-) There is something about sunsets over water that takes my breath away! We just stare and stare at its magnificence and even wonder why the other beachcombers seem to ignore it and rather go watch the girls strut their stuff in bikinis and what-nots. And I'm not the one wondering...it usually is my husband!

Full moon shots...now, that is a challenge! Over here, all we can say and describe the most ethereal moon scapes are "Zen-like" and "Luna-esque." Sometimes, I hear even ravel's "Bolero" while she plays with the lace-like evening clouds.

We call our Sun "Grandpa" and Moon "Grandma." To add respect, kung baga.

hehe hope you could imagine how astonished i was, hindi ko na naman kayang palagpasin na hindi magcomment. hihi.
galing mo!

Your sunset of the Manila bay reminds me when we were cruising there in 1988 there was this boat there that I
think was called cruising Manila.
Perfect shots, thanks for sharing!

Oh wow! I love the quietness of these photographs. The stillness that permeates through these scenes is inspiring.

Marvelous shots, Eric!

Thank you, Luna!

Interesting you mentioned "quietness." You see, I was trying to figure out how to use the word "silence" in the title, but gave up and used "enchanting" instead ... hehehe.

I say quite perceptive of you :)

Thanks much for the accolade, Miss Imagineer :)

I am actually humbled by your kind words. But you're right, I'd like to think that a gorgeous sunset is God's way of showering us with love at the end of the day.

So true, Pusa. Nothing beats the wonderful colors of the sunset. And the combinations vary from day to day :)

So glad you like these photos :) Thanks!

Wow! Maurice Ravel's "Bolero!" I hear it in my mind at this very moment, Bernadette! Delightful piece!

Problem is, some folks start to take for granted things that are readily available to them.

Actually, if I lived in one of those awesome apartments facing Manila Bay, I'd probably hook up a camera onto the Internet so everyone from anywhere can check out the sunset on real time every day :)

Actually, yes, BertN ... it is possible indeed even with a point & shoot camera :)
