I'm sure it was a lot of fun, not to mention healthy, especially for a group of friends to join a marathon, Kyels. Great way to spend a weekend morning :)

You are looking a the main export of their country - marathoners.

Even the chilly San Francisco marathons are participated in and won by Kenyans. Funny that one year, the main prize was a sporty two-seater Mercedes Benz.

Yeah, the winner took the prize and brought it to Kenya. Not.

Yes, that's what I heard, Amadeo, the kenyans seem to dominate the marathons in the States.

I wonder if the Kenyans or marathon winners from other countries could just convert into cash those prizes (luxury cars). I also wonder the taxes they have to pay for those winnings.

There were thousands of folks who managed to get there before the break of dawn in order to run. It was fun!
