LITTLE SAGALAS OF QUIAPO
I very much appreciate my articles and photos appearing on fellow bloggers' sites, popular broadsheets, and local broadcast news segments, but I would appreciate even more a request for permission first.
Thank you!

Wow! It's as if my wish for more children pics has been answered!
Cute yung consorte sa second pic... nagpa-pacifier pa! hahaha! Feeling beauty queen naman yung little sagala sa third pic. And look at that charming little gentleman on the first pic... Nagpapa-cute sa mga girls!
Beautiful, beautiful pics, Eric. Thanks, I like all of 'em. :)- nutart said...
very candid shots talaga ito, Eric! I like them very much because you can actually see little stories through them!
It's really with little girls (and I was once one too :-)) a nice longing to be a princess and wear those romantic flowing gowns ala Sleeping Beauty etc. And being part of the SantaCruzan is just like being made a princess for a day!- escape said...
i personally like the second photo in this set. it tells us how little these kids are. nice capture.

Oh my gosh, nakakatuwa itong mga bata! That little boy with his pacifier is such a sweetie. And the girls are darlings. That little girl in the last picture walking on the sidewalk, holding her mother's hand, siguro sabi nya "bakit ako hindi kasama"?
There is just something about little children that makes you feel good when you see them. Wala pang problema sa buhay.- Señor Enrique said...
Thanks, Rhoda!
So glad to have run into this parade/procession. Those kids were truly adorable :)- Señor Enrique said...
Never thought of it, Bernadette, but you're right! The girls looked like princesses :)
And everyone had a wonderful time despite the long walk they did.- Señor Enrique said...
That little boy was really something else -- so cute with that pacifier. He refused to let it go, donG ... hehehe!

That's so true, Pat -- not a care in the world and everything out of the ordinary is deemed make believe :)
You should have seen how proud their mothers were ... hehehe.- said...
Is this why we are so fond of Beauty Pageant? We start at a young age!

Or it may be the other way around. Certainly tough to answer, for it's akin to the bewildering chicken and egg who-came-first query.
Nonetheless, much like our western counterparts, we appreciate our very own -- the beautiful Filipinas :)- reyd said...
Ganda at cute naman ng mga bata! Thanks for sharing a very festive event.
Proud na proud ako when my daughter was asked to be a sagala during the fiesta in our town. Kaso, napagod near the church. :)
No more May-June vacations after that.- Señor Enrique said...
My pleasure, Reyd!
Bilib nga ako sa mga batang munti na mga ito -- walang angal kahip pagkalayo-layo ng nilakad. Enjoy kasi silang lahat :)- Unknown said...
The little boy in the top photo has a very sweet smile!:D The girl in the 3rd photo looks like she's going to be present in sagalas for the next 20 years. Feel na feel nya o!:D
Pati pala naka pacifier pa, pwede na ring sumali! These are fun shots! Thanks for sharing.:)- Señor Enrique said...
My pleasure, Luna!
