MAN CLIMBING UP THE STEPS
Aperture: F2.8
Shutter: 1/800 sec
I very much appreciate my articles and photos appearing on fellow bloggers' sites, popular broadsheets, and local broadcast news segments, but I would appreciate even more a request for permission first.
Thank you!

Spectacular shot, Eric! All the elements of a good photograph are there--- nice composition, nice contrast, the patterns are superb, the shadow...all... fall into place.

I like the shot. Now I feel bad, I should have bought a nice digicam with the money that was stolen from me :(

Better digicams are coming out and at lower prices, too, Joy. You will get one pretty soon, I'm sure :)

Hi Senor Enrique,
it always inspires me to take photos whenever I see great photos as such! Also visited a photographer friend last night and saw her collection plus she has visitor fellow photojournalist. Been looking at B&W and wishing I could also hang those photos on my walls. Right now I dont have a camera-- sigh. I really need to buy one.
By the way Senor Enrique... I will be going to NYC around 1st or 2nd week of July. I will be there less than a week just to visit some friends. Please let me know the best place to see. would love to hear from a former New Yorker.
God bless!- said...

Visiting NYC in less than a week? I guess, going to Times Square would be a good start. Visiting the Metropolitan Museum would be another. Also, taking the free ferry ride to Staten Island and back would allow you to see the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan's skyline from a boat.
As for the rest, perhaps, your NY friends would have fun ideas as well that are worth checking out.
This would be a good time to get a point & shoot because NYC is incredibly photogenic.
Have a fun and safe trip, Daisy!- Unknown said...
Hi Senor Enrique!
Thank you very much for the travel tips! Actually I will be visiting for only 4 days, that is the longest that I can squeeze into my trip. I really would love to stay longer. There will definitely be a next time.
I already borrowed a point and shoot Sony cybershot from the office and excited to click away. I've heard so much from friends and read in blogs that indeed it is a photogenic city.
Thanks so much for taking time to write back!
It is always good to ask fellow photographers and travelers the best place and cheapest-- hole in the wall eatery that they discovered that only seasoned travelers knows and not the guide books :)
salamat!

My pleasure, Daisy! What an exciting trip even though for only four days. Those three tips I gave you should be enough, unless of course, your NY friends have more fun ideas.
Please share with us your photographs!
