FORTUNE AND MEN’S EYES
It is one thing for a woman to accept a marriage proposal from a rich man, but another altogether for a financially-strapped man, under the guise of true love, ensnare a woman’s heart basically for her money. Women are highly intuitive by nature; thus, eventually would get wind of their husbands’ original intent. If inauspicious, rest assured, the culprits are bound to experience a series of repercussions peppered with spite; first and foremost of which, entails the subsequent withholding of what was once a generous allowance from her bottomless coffers.
In the business arena, seasoned players avoid men of such reputation like the plague. They reason that if these men could toy with women’s emotions, they could just as easily manifest their unscrupulous thoughts on any business dealings.
I’ve met a couple of such characters since moving here in Manila, and true to form, their ill intentions would somehow surface to overwhelm whatever good they have in them. They almost always appear oblivious to the fact that their grandstanding only reveals the inner turmoil that they struggle with. But what’s even more astonishing is that most of these men are engaged in certain professions geared to enhance and/or protect peoples’ overall well-being.
Notwithstanding, to these misguided men, I have nothing but prayers that they soon find the inspiration to correct their erring ways; hence, put into good use the intelligence that God has given them. And in so doing, participate in the evolution of our nation’s spiritual maturity; thereby usher in more good people and consequently, a darn good government.

wedding is very important, at sa culture ng mga pinoy eh once in a lifetime lang kaya dapat maging geniune at tama ang reasons bakit pakakasalana ng isang tao :)-

In all honesty, Amadeo, didn't know the title was taken from a Shakesperean sonnet; remember it only as the title to a stage play.
This wasn't originally intend as a serious entry. I was planning to write something about having true love as equivalent to owning a great fortune, but ran into a less than desirable character the other day, and thought about writing about him instead. Hehehe.-

Actually, Iskoo, got the idea from checking out some wedding posts by other photographers online.
BTW, this is how I took this shot:
I used a magnifying glass and put it against the lens of my camera; once focused, I took the shot. A friend showed me how to do it. It works, di ba?

Luckily for me, I don't personally know anybody with such characters. I didn't realize that you took this picture, very professionally taken. But then again, I should know by now that you post only your own pictures here now. So, where'd you get the wedding ring that says Fortune?

lol niceheart, that's what I observed too. Who is fortune {tobacco?, rich! :)). I have blogged another version of this shot. And yes knowing Eric posting only his photos, I may join in asking, 'Who is Fortune?' You have the right to remain silent by the way. :)

Unable to post any comments these past two days due to problems with the Internet. Supposedly, an earthquake in Taiwan damaged underwater telecommunication and Internet cables, which affected most of the Pacific rim countries.
Anyway, glad to be back...
That was a silver good luck ring that I received for my birthday a couple of years ago, Irene.
On the outside are etched the Chinese characters which means "good fortune," while inside is just the English word "fortune."
I used a yellow light bulb to cast a golden hue which also made the silver fortune ring looked gold.

Hope you never ever meet such unsavory character in your life who allow their worst deeds to overwhelm the good that is within them.
As mentioned above, Ipanema, fortune is a good luck ring! Hehehe...
There were others in that silver ring collection but immediately got sold out. Other than fortune, there was love, health, peace, prosperity and so forth.
