INTRAMUROS IN BLACK & WHITE

They are picking up my laptop anytime Monday or Tuesday; not for yet another repair job but for a complete refund. That means that I may not be able to post any new entries until a couple of days; need time as well to get used to the new laptop and configure its settings for my personal use.

This brief break from blogging will also provide me with the opportunity to attend to any errands left that I must do before Christmas. There are also some balikbayan friends who will be arriving in a day or two whom I‘d like to spend some time with before they head on towards their respective province.

Gosh, time surely flies; in only a couple of weeks, it’ll be 2007.

I try to post something new everyday, Sachiko, if possible. Kung minsan, simple lang naman mga entry ko. If longer, I would usually need time to edit/proofread which is the part I don't enjoy much :)

Thanks, Kyels! I'm going to keep practicing taking b&w pics because at times they can be more compelling than colored photographs.

Hi Carla -- see that! Nakatikim ka na din pala ng Dolor's kakanin. Ang sarap di ba? Ako nga mas madalas malamig kasi nasa fridge, eh, pero sarap pa rin :)

Thanks!

Laptop problems again ? Which brand did you buy ?

Here in NZ you can configure the laptop to your specs... from CPU, memory to hard drive. :) I think its cheaper here than in the pinas too.

I hope you get to post some new year shots and some parol shots.

This has been going on for a year now, S.A.! Finally, HP is conceding that I return it unconditionally for a complete refund (with the help of DTI and my credit card company).

Two people I know had gone that route you speak of and very happy with their units. I am leaning towards a Mac, though.

Haven't started Christmas decor/light shoots, yet.

Black and white naman ha! Iba ang dating ng B&W ano? I think you picked the appropriate subjects. Nice.

I also have so many things to do that I have been neglecting. I just might also need time away from the computer. :)

Believe me, Irene ... not easy to stay away from a PC. I'm here now at an Internet shop at the mall and I had to go online to check my email. I had forgotten some info written on friends' emails and I also had to verify addresses of some stores; best is to check out their sites insted of calling on the phone (lines are eternally busy it seem).

That's how dependednt I've become on the cyberzone.

I have a love/hate relationship with computers! ;-)
For sure I will never buy a HP computer again. Every two are three weeks I see a small white line appearing on the full lenght of my screen. This is already line 3...
Tell now it is not too bad, just very annoying...
I hate to spend money on repairs since this computer is already 2 years old.

Anyway, enjoy the Christmas holidays with your new babies (D80 & Mac)! ;-)
