ON JOY
"If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth." - Mitsugi Saotome

joy... usually I just stare at my pamangkins and instantly I'm rewarded with views of genuine happiness. I always see in children sincere joy which always warmth the heart.
purpose in life... ahh. I remember that it took me quite a long time to define my own. but then life is itself, a learning and relearning process. it would be better if joy is tagged along with it =)- said...
Cool shot, Eric. And I like that quote. :)

Wow eric! It's almost like these boys were just hanging there and you took their photo. Ang galing! If I take this kind of pic it would turn out blurred...hahaha.

They're my nephew and his friends who'd do anything in front of a camera so long as you take individual portrait shots of them to upload to their Friendster accounts :)
It was actually my first attempt at jumpshot, which I must improve on.- Liza on Maui said...
I definitely agree with the quote. The photo adds life to it - what a joy!

Wow! Jump shots ala Jeff Vergara style! The quote is also well said.
Anyway, just droppin' by to say hi. I started updating my blog again and would appreciate it if you could give it a visit. The blog still needs a ton of updating but we'll soon get there. Thank you!- pusa said...

I've taken many jump shots since learning it from Jeff, Pusa. Really lots of fun especially, for the subjects, though after a while they complain of exhaustion ... hehehe!
