Wise words... not always easy to follow.

I just love Og Mandinos quotes and inspirational phrases! One of my favorite is "I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet i will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars"-- thanks for the wisdom!

That's true, Sidney ... wise words are often easier said than done. But then again, that doesn't mean we can't nurture such thoughts in our consciousness. Who knows? By thinking about it now and then, our hearts may eventually follow :)

I think I'll throw this line at my husband..he's a lawyer and in the fault-finding business. Hehehe.
Seriously though, great quote. I actually could live by these words.- Aura said...
Nice thought of the day, SE!! Very inspirational but like Sydney said, its not always easy to follow because some people are just so mean.....
Thanks for dropping by at my blog!- pusa said...

More power to him Scrooch, especially when putting behind bars those of criminal minds.
Yes, I also appreciate these words a lot because envy can cause much harm to those who harbor them.- Señor Enrique said...
My pleasure, Aura. What glorious trip that was you guys took. Very inspiring :)
I know! So many angry and mean people around. That is why we should remain steadfast in not allowing anyone to sidetrack us from our positive thoughts.- Señor Enrique said...
Thanks, Pusa. Might as well practice all those lighting seminars I had taken in the past. Besides, not much going on out there so I might as well do whatever I can inside my workshop :)
Thanks ... will try on working on this tag soon :)- Señor Enrique said...
I sent thsi quote to a friend, Jon. She was just engulfed by a co-worker's envious politicking. Told her not to quit her job but to keep this quote around to help her cope.
Glad it was of help to you, too :)- Señor Enrique said...
I should, right, Lino? Hehehe!
Okay I might as well submit it then. Thanks!- said...

beautiful, will forward this to my confused teenaged nieces...:).
thanks for sharing!- Señor Enrique said...
Thanks, LAR, pero I'm still learning. Kung makikita mo makshift studio ko matatawa ka -- puros mumurahing lampara na nabili sa Quiapo na minsan sumasabog mga bumbilya kasi galing China at peke ... hehehe.

Very very true, Noypete! That's why we shouldn't let anyone rain on our parade; otherwise sira na talaga buhay :)

Sure hope your nieces will apply it, Cacofonix, because as most say, daming kontra-bida dito sa mundo ... hehehe!

Galing!

Here's a tip, LAR: next time you're at aunt's or friend's house or anywhere else, keep an eye open for stuff you can borrow to photograph -- an old bottle, ornament, piece of old jewelry, and etc. -- and just set them up using the light streaming from a window. And then take shots from various angles. Simula ka lang dyan muna.
The way I do it is that whether inspired or not, I urge myself to take even a picture a day of found object -- kahit pang-hilod ... hehehe!
