Unknown said... Hayyyy! The worsening hunger and poverty are making corruption scandals like the NBN/ZTE deal more contemptible and appalling. Let's hope the Senate investigation would finally bring closure to this issue. Harinawa!

Person on fourth pic - what's up? Is he/she trying to stop photographers from taking pics?
Now, look at the people in these pics - and compare with those in the next post re: pro-admin contingent. WHAT'S THE DIFF? I think most Of those pro-admin rallyists are housewives... plucked from their household chores, to rally in behalf of PGMA. In other words... "hakot" crowd. :)-

I wonder if we as a race could ever wipe out such arrogant corruption from our genes ... hehehe.-

From what I heard, Bugsy, the extreme poverty and utter hopelessness in our remote rural regions yield no other recourse for our youth but for them to "wave" a red flag. This has become a common phenomenon in other parts of the world as well, including Africa.
It's a sad situation.-

That young man in front of the students, Rhoda, is quite popular to the media folks at the scene. He was once featured on TV as the youngest militant voice of the country.
That is a woman who was screaming to oust Pangulong Gloria from office. She was screaming at every car that passed by, which brought a piece of amusement to everyone, including the military guards.
Yes, there's indeed a striking contrast here -- a trace of desolation and uneasiness etched on the faces of the pro-administration folks, while the militant rallyists projected a sense of determination and purpose.-
