very refreshing image as always, Eric!
The other night, my husband and I watched Skype's event of Eric Tolle and Ophrah Winfrey's New Earth Class Series. The topic is being in the Now...anyway, one of them was the simple act of jogging in a park. Most joggers would usually have a headset with music playing in their ears while others would walk around chatting with a companion. That isn't being in the Now daw. Being in Now is really observing one's body as it runs/jogs/walks and Nature (like seeing the leaves, tree barks, pebbles, etc. And thus, one is in meditation and deep focus.- Señor Enrique said...
UNable to watch it due to my slow Internet connection, Bernadette.
Anyway, that's a fascinating observation. Most folks do tend to multi-task even with their leisure activities.
I'm slowly reading Tolle's book and must admit, learning to enjoy the present moment. And should thoughts of worry emerge, I simply let go and let God, and then go on living in the moment.
Thanks, Bernadette :)- said...
Lovely green! :)

I was very much attracted to these various shades of green so I immediately snapped a pic, Jo Anne.
Incidentally, a photography trick I learned when it comes to shooting flowers and leaves -- try shooting against the light -- as I had done with this picture.
Thanks, Jo Anne :)- Sidney said...
Take good care of your digital image... you never know if it will not be the subject of intense discussions... in a few centuries.;-)

Green is soothing to the eyes. Excellent use of contrasting color Senor, green and black compliments each other.

Thank you, Mandaragat!
These colors remind of the kids' uniform in this other photo of mine:
