Not trying to be harsh to some of these job seekers, but if I'm not a degree holder, might be better off peddling banana-Q on the streets than waste my time on these applications.
With overflowing college grads, and nowhere to put them, almost all jobs now require a degree. What a country. It just saddens me. Goodhealth and take your flu shots, rainy days is here....-

Wow! 30,000 job vacancies. Now that's a lot. I hope its like this everyday so that our population won't be generally jobless and moneyless...

Inspiring to see a job fair in Pinas, as informal as it looks. One thing that I would like to see is a more equity in terms of age and gender. As they say, once you're in the mid -thirties it is darn difficult to get a job :(

I agree with you, Carla. What's goos about this particular job fair is that they also included many menial jobs as well for those with lesser education, so there were openings for those from many walks of life, not just for nurses, engineers, seamen and etc.

Yes I do, Ean -- the basic contrast and cropping. I haven't gotten into Photoshop just yet since I want to further hone my skills first in the actual photographing.

What's veb sadder, TruBlue, is that many colleges here in Manila merely churns out college graduates, but their level of academic quality is hardly on the same level as our better schools.
I'm actually recuperating from another bout with the flu :(-

Not to mention, BW, that it is quite legal here to state in the ad which gender you seek and your preferred age range of applicants. You may also require attachment of pictures on their resumes -- blatant violations of equal opportunity employment laws in the States.
