The quote is true, definitely. Simplicity goes a long way, me thinks but it depends on the circumstances too.

I remember our room in the college dorm encountering an emailed flash program that purportedly "reads minds." Being math and science majors, we were figuring out how the thing worked, but our polsci roommate would want none of our explanation.
I guess there's enjoyment, too, in discovering new things; just that there's a point where you would ultimately have to just bask in the beatiful mystery of it all.
